231717 is a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 RB Series D listed on 8/1/1938.

902407 should be a 4x5 Pacemaker Crown Graphic. This came from a production lot started on 12/01/1954. The lot goes from 901027 through 904026 and there's no way to tell when the camera was actually produced.

RB Graflex B 3x4 sn 152883 :

3 1/4 x 4 1/4 from late 1926


RB Graflex B 2x3 sn 171447 :

2 1/4 x 3/14 from 02/08/1930

Ser#931978

Thia falls between numbers 931600 and 932599 dated 1/16/1959.

There could be a letter date code ink stamped under the front rail that might be more accurate if it hasn't been changed.

The best I've got in the book is:

700,000 through 706,000 was from 2/1947 through 2/1950.

706,001 was 2/21/1950 so you should be before that...

The "book" has listing up to 8/19/1964 with serial numbers 975909-978408. It then says "see new book". There is no 'new book' as far as I know of... The "not list" says: 978635 – 4x5 crown -- December 1964 980335 – crown -- guessed at 1965 which is probably as close as ...
