Town Meeting of 5/13 and wind mills...
Message:

Well, if you didn't make it to the Town meeting tonight, you missed your chance to meet me (and my wife!) ;-) But we finally did make it to a Board Meeting and were pleasantly surprised.

First off, it was nice to see some people I know and say 'hello', which I wish happened a bit more often. And I met or at least saw a few people I didn't know, and/or wanted to ;-)

Over all, it was an interesting meeting and I'm glad I made it. I saw for myself that our Town is concerned with what we think and they do listen to us. And that they have an awful lot of little details that they have to take care of to keep our Town going... I don't envy them at all! But I do thank them for the job they're doing, and for listening to us!

Then there's that wind mill problem. They did vote for the moratorium on wind mill building, or at least to start the process. Nothing is simple it seems. Almost all who spoke were against the wind mill farm with only one person trying to tweak a feeling of allowing for the "renewable energy" thing. Yes, green energy is wonderful, but NOT at the cost of this project! Maybe we'll win this battle...

So if you weren' there, sorry I missed you and hopefully we'll meet at another meeting. I do hope to get to more of them from now on...
